Hybrid prosthesis or All on 4/5 or 6
It is an innovative concept where we provide a complete restoration of your smile, returning you to the quality of life you deserve. It is performed using four titanium implants in the upper or lower jaw, supporting the new fixed hybrid prosthesis. The number of implants required will depend on the quality of the patient's bone.
We offer our patients an accessible solution without any type of grafting. Additionally, we provide them with a temporary full arch prosthesis on the same day of the surgery. Within our protocol, there is the possibility of performing the surgery under sedation or local anesthesia.
The material of hybrid prostheses
- Acrylic hybrid
• The arches are made of a framework combining metal and acrylic.
- Zirconia
• It is made of ZIRCONIA material, which has the appropriate rigidity to support the natural movement of the patient's mouth, acting as a buffer between the force of the mouth and the implants.
• It never discolors and creates a natural appearance in your teeth.

Overdentures
The overdenture is a removable prosthesis that is supported by dental implants. It is attached to two abutments, which provide good retention as it is fitted onto the implants fixed in the mouth. They are more comfortable than conventional removable dentures because they offer greater stability and absence of a palate. They are indicated for cases of patients with missing teeth, both upper and lower, and it will be the dentist who determines the best treatment to achieve greater stability and long-term durability.
How does the overdenture work?
The overdenture is a removable prosthesis that the patient can remove on their own. One of its advantages is that, by being supported by dental implants, it functions like a fixed prosthesis, offering much more stability. It consists of two parts, one on the implants and the other on the prosthesis.
The parts that attach to the prosthesis can be of two types:
- Ball, the most popular being the Locator system.
- Bar," which can be Ackerman or Dolder.
Thanks to this system, the patient will be able to perfectly anchor their prosthesis to the implants, which should be a minimum of two and a maximum of four.

Types of overdentures
The overdenture will allow patients to recover their teeth either completely or partially.
- Complete dental rehabilitation
The overdenture placed over the implants can replace a complete arch, either upper, lower, or both.
The specialist can place dental implants throughout the mouth in case of total loss of teeth or if extraction is necessary.
The overdenture will be placed over four implants in the upper arch and two in the lower.
- Partial dental rehabilitation
Partial overdentures replace dental bridges.
They are indicated for cases where patients have lost several teeth in a row.
- What material are overdentures made of?
The overdenture is a resin prosthesis with acrylic teeth, which has a metal framework inside to support its strength. It offers the conveniences of a fixed prosthesis, but being removable, it is very comfortable for cleaning, making oral hygiene very simple, and ensuring that the implants do not become contaminated due to the accumulation of bacteria or plaque.
- How to place the overdenture in the mouth?
To ensure that the overdenture is properly positioned, the first step is to place it in its correct position and then press with the fingers until you hear a "click," which means that the overdenture has snapped onto the locators or onto the bar, depending on the system that each patient has. One aspect to keep in mind is not to force or bite it to bring it to its place, as this may lead to the breakage of some of its components.
